Cat Adoption

Pearl was brought in from the cold and some unknown times.  Her experience hasn't made her the worse for wear though!  Pearl is very friendly and eager for cuddles and attention.  She doesn't hesitate to let you know when she wants love.  She's a beautiful girl but has had some matts cut off due to her recent past so will likely require regular brushing by her new family to maintain her beauty.

Meet Mariah, our most recent Jenny Craig graduate.  When Mariah arrived at our shelter she was a hefty 17 pounds!  We are all so proud of her for sticking to her diet and losing almost six of those pounds.  She is almost ready to squeeze into her skinny jeans!  Although there is less of her to love now, she makes up for it by being one of our most affectionate cats.  Mariah will melt in your arms.  And what a motor!  Once you get her purring, good luck getting her to stop!  Don’t deny yourself the opportunity to be loved by the newly “renovated” Mariah!

Smokey came in with her kittens who have since found loving homes.  Now its Smokeys turn to go home! She likes to be brushed and picked up for her cuddles.  She's a friendly and independent girl who's curiosity can sometimes gets the best of her by winding up on tables and counters.  She's lived with other cats and kids and likes to use her scratching post.

Maximillion sure is one in a million! He is a beautiful boy with the biggest green eyes you have ever seen. Max loves everybody he meets and has lived with cats and children in his previous home. Max is very affectionate and loves head rubs!

Cora is a gentle and easy going girl, who is looking to find a loving family. It takes her a little while to warm up to new people, but once she does she will make herself at home and loves to sleep at the foot of the bed! Once comfortable, Cora also loves to be brushed and have her neck scratched. She is also wonderful with other cats and dog

Portia was found nursing a litter of kittens and is friendly, lovable and affectionate. Portia likes be picked up and is good with other cats.  Portia is waiting to befriend a new loving family.

Ellen and Portia were found taking care of a litter of kittens and now she is looking for someone to take care of her. Ellen is a beautiful Calico with extreme table manners, often found dipping her paw into her water to drink. This beautiful girl was a stray but is now looking for a home with a view.

This little woman is looking for a happy ending of her own. Just like the story book characters, this girl is independent and adventurous. In her foster home she lived with other cats and dogs and can't wait to meet all of the members of her new forever family. Chip can often be found finding behind a scratching post ready to pounce on the first unsuspecting kitten that runs by. This adventurous guy is looking for a forever home where he can share his love of life!

Mimi is a chatty girl who can be rather shy to begin with but quickly warms up to people and lets her true personality shine through. She is a fantastic girl that likes to play with toys as well as other cats. Please take the time to meet Mimi and give her a chance to work her way into your heart!

Bella is a gorgeous girl with some of the longest white whiskers ever seen! She is hoping that a new family will fall in love with her soon so she can start a new life and show how affectionate she really can be. She becomes talkative once she is comfortable with her surroundings and has a purr that could drown out a motor boat.

This little charmer arrived at the shelter in rough shape. After spending time in a loving foster home she is healthy and ready for adoption. Cirrus loves to play (she believes that feet are toys too!) but she also enjoys cuddle time in between.

Don't let Peanut's name fool you! He is a full grown and full of personality! He is eager for attention and happily greets new visitors. This handsome boy loves to nap and cuddle and can't wait to have his very own bed in his new forever home.

Our boy Earl came to the shelter as a stray and is warming up to the idea of having a family. He is a bit on the shy side, but he is sure to flourish in a loving home where he can relax. This handsome fellow loves to nap and would gladly curl up at the end of your bed.

Rain

These kittens were found during a terrible summer storm and were in desperate need of a warmth and shelter. Luckily they found ours! Rain and Monsoon are cheerful and frisky young kittens who love to play with toys. These bundles of fur require love and attention and will gratefully return the favour.

Boo is trying not to be a scaredy cat! She has been a little bit timid in the shelter but thrived in a the foster home. This purring machine loves to be petted and talked to. She also loves to nap and give plenty of kisses. In a home environment her confidence will surely grow. Boo would prefer a quiet home, but will also do well with other cats to play with.

Hoju is hoping to find some loving people to walk through the door and fall in love with her. Hoju has a beautiful long fur coat that will need to be groomed on a regular basis as to prevent matts, however this shouldn't be hard as she is a fairly tolerable gal! She can be a bit unsure of herself, but is always gentle and appreciates a good cuddle when she can get one. This big eyed beauty is sure to win your heart.

Little Aiko came to us having sustained a serious head injury. After enduring several days of intensive care, we knew this little fighter was going to survive. Unfortunately, Aiko's injury has left her blind in both eyes and slightly wobbly on her feet. Because she is fearless and throws herself enthusiastically into her playtime, her ideal home would be a bungalow where she cannot be at risk of falling down the stairs. Aiko has impressed all of us with her strength, courage, and especially her affection. This little doll just melts in your arms while she serenades you with loving purrs. Aiko has stolen all of our hearts, and we know she will steal yours too!

Our girl Ray is not only beautiful, but she is brave too! Luckily one of our volunteers spotted Ray as she was clinging to the shelter's fence during an awful thunderstorm! Ray is grateful to now be on the track towards finding herself a safe and warm forever home. If you think that you can provide the happy ending to Ray's adventure tale, she would be more than happy to thank you with a life time supply of purrs and cuddles.

With a name meaning emerald, who wouldn't want this beautiful gem to become a part of their family? Esmerelda is a beautiful girl who may be a bit on the timid side initially, but she will warm up to those who will give her lots of love and affection. Having been abandoned in her past she is now looking for her forever home where she can curl up and relax on a nice warm bed.

Don’t let his name fool you, Scratchy is a very talkative sweetheart who just wants attention and is nothing like his Simpson’s namesake. He is looking for a lap to curl up on to get the love he deserves. Scratchy has been around other cats and dogs and has done quite well. So come and meet this fellow and his star personality!

Actor George Hamilton in a tuxedo has nothing on our boy Doug. Doug’s Hollywood good looks are accented by stunning white whickers & eyebrows. He is also quite the actor: he will woo you to his kennel with promises of cuddles, only to run off and play. Cast your attention elsewhere and this jester will be back at your side begging for more attention.

Maximus will quietly charm his way into your heart. Gentle and unassuming, this big fella loves to have his head scratched and will patiently wait for your attention. This embracing boy was found wandering the streets, so not much of his past is known, but he is looking forward to start new memories with his new family.

This stunning girl has a magnetic personality! When Muffins was abandoned, a neighbour took her in and immediately fell in love. She is playful, active, outgoing and purrs a lot. In the short time she spent with the finder, it was apparent that she loves children. Unfortunately, the finder could not keep her and now Muffins is looking for a forever home.

Our finder instantly fell in love with us when she found us in a small box at a campground. The best things come in small packages and she offered to foster us since we were way too young to be camping on our own. She has other cats so she couldn’t keep us. She did say that we are two of the most adorable kittens she has ever seen and that we are very attached to each other.

With these calm kittens in your lap the stress of the everyday hustle and bustle will melt away.
