Mutt Strut

May 26th

Join us for a day of two and four legged fun on Saturday, May 26!  Along with our 17th Annual Mutt Strut dog walk, presented by Cochrane Veterinary Care Clinic, this year we’re also going to be celebrating our 20th anniversary!  Join us at the shelter to start and finish your walk and stick around after the walk for carnival games, face painting, balloon twisting and prizes for the kids.  Your kids will love the stuffy adoption centre! Grab a bite to eat at our BBQ and check out our vendors.  The first 100 registrants to check in that morning will receive a “doggy bag” filled with fun items!  We’ll have prizes for our top fundraisers so register and collect pledges!  You don’t need a dog to join us on the walk and all funds raised at the Mutt Strut go to support the animals in our care!

Along with our Mutt Strut in Cochrane, we’ll also be hosting our 2nd Annual Mutt Strut in Airdrie, presented by The Place 4 Paws, at East Lake Park on May 26th!  We’ve been serving the community of Airdrie with their animal welfare needs since 2016 and would love to have you join us to enjoy a day with your dog!  There will be prizes for our top Airdrie fundraisers and fun throughout the walk!  Our Airdrie crew will be putting together “doggy bags” to give out at the event, so mark your calendars!

Adopted 2016

Maisy is doing wonderful (we kept her name since I thought it suited her). She is such a sweet-natured girl, and loves cuddles and belly rubs! She is starting to purr now when she is happy and around my boyfriend and I. The only time I’ve ever heard her meow though, was when we took her to the vet. Other than that, she doesn’t make a sound. I thought it was a little strange because I’ve always had chatty cats growing up, but I guess that’s just how Maisy is!
We could not have found a better cat to fit into our lives. Thank you so much once again.

Meet. Adopt. Love.
