We Do It Because We Care

Each year the number of animals we care for increases, as do the costs to provide a safe and healthy environment for them. All animals entering our shelter receive basic veterinary care and are spayed or neutered to prevent more unwanted litters. However, in many cases where an animal is sick, abused, or injured, they require extra veterinary care and TLC.

There are many ways you can help the animals whether it is through your membership with the society, volunteerism, monetary donations, fostering animals, donations of goods in kind, or by joining our team of caring staff.

Although dollars are always an on-going demand, there are many donations of goods-in-kind that are used at the shelter on a daily basis. Our wish-list consists of these items and is updated regularly; many of the items are an on-going need at the shelter and will remain on the list indefinitely.
