We have been receiving calls and concerns about what is happening with the Town animals if they aren't coming to our shelter. Click for an update.

Christmas Party Open House
Thank you to everyone who attended and volunteered at our Christmas Party Open House. We received over $5500 in donations and supplies! Our animals were big winners with fifteen finding new homes the day of the party!!
We hope to see you again next year.

We are very grateful for the funding we received from The Calgary Foundation - Community Grant program. Our staff, the animals and the community will benefit as we use the funds for our capacity building staff training initiative.

Mutt Strut
The 10th Annual Mutt Strut was a great success. It was a gorgeous day with sunshine and lots of dogs and their families out to enjoy a great family event. Over $26,000 was raised for our animals! We are so grateful to everyone who raised pledges and participated, as well as to our volunteers and sponsors.

8th Annual Golf Classic
The day began with wind and rain but ended with sunshine, warmth and over $54,000 raised for our shelter! We are very grateful to our sponsors, donors, golfers, and volunteers who made this event possible. Funds raised will support our internal animal hospital where shelter animals receive examinations, vaccinations and sometimes life-saving surgery.

Imperial Oil's VIP Grant will be used to build a permanent humane education resource library that the Education Coordinator and program participants can use for reference and guidance. Countless children and adults will benefit from these resources.
