Humane Education

Humane education is about fostering kindness, respect, and empathy towards all animals. Part of helping children to develop good character is teaching them to treat all animals responsibly and humanely.

Animal abuse and neglect are linked to bullying and family violence, which in turn can lead to cruelty towards animals. Through education we are striving to break this cycle. Contact us for information on shelter tours, classroom visits and ways students can help shelter animals.

Ryder

Adopted 2016

We adopted Ry back in January 2016 and she adapted very well to her new home; she is definitely a very spoiled, very loved little girl! Ryder loves being around her people and wins the hearts of everyone she meets. She loves going on outdoor adventures (she is great off-leash) and having play dates with her fur-cousins, but at the end of the day, she loves nothing more than a good snuggle and a belly rub!
We love Ry to bits and are looking forward to our many years together!
Thank you so much for all that you do!

Meet. Adopt. Love.
