Smokey

Smokey is a gentle boy with a heart of gold, and he is sure to win you over with his sweet personality and handsome coat. Arriving at the shelter was a bit scary for him, but he has made wonderful progress and now loves his daily walks! He prefers a calm demeanour in his human friends to match his own personality, and would find a home with small children to be overwhelming. Smokey adores his canine pals and may benefit from another dog in his new home to show him the ropes, no cats for this fella though. His new owners should be familiar with working with a shy dog so they can set him up for success and continue building his confidence. He has the most adorable habit of holding out his paw when he meets new friends, so if holding hands with a golden dog sounds like a dream come true, then Smokey is your guy!
