Each year, corporations and their employees choose to direct a portion of their earnings to the Cochrane & Area Humane Society through workplace giving. Simple monthly payroll deductions make it easy to have a tremendous impact on the lives of our shelter animals. Talk to your employer to get a United Way form and fill in our name and charitable number (89848 8226RR0001).

Grants are essential for the Cochrane & Area Humane Society’s success. Our various programs are currently grant funded by organizations such as PetSmart Charities, Calgary Foundation, Cochrane Foundation, and Four Feet Companion Foundation. If you know of a grant that we should apply for, please reach out to executive.director@cochranehumane.ca.

Hosting a fundraiser in your organization is a great way to have fun, engage your team, and celebrate the joy of pets—all while supporting animals who need your help. If you plan to host an event, please complete a third-party fundraising form so we can better understand the details and purpose of your event.

Sponsor Energy, a electricity retailer in Alberta, partners with local charities and offers them an opportunity to raise money for their organizations by participating as “Community Partners” of Sponsor Energy. The CAHS partners with the Cochrane Food Bank to support keeping pets in their home. Donations of cat and dog food are greatly appreciated to help with the program.
