Critter Club

We’re excited to announce a new program just for kids! Our Critter Club is for kids who love animals and want to spend time at the shelter but aren’t quite old enough to volunteer.  The club will meet once a week on Thursdays, with the 7 to 9 year old age group meeting from 5:30-7:00 pm and 10 to 12 year olds meeting from 7:15 to 8:45 pm.  Kids will have a chance to learn all about different animals, help out with certain shelter activities (such as making enrichment items for our animals) and meet animal friends as available. The sessions run for 8 weeks and the cost is $150. Sign up today as there are only 10 spots for each age group per session!

Session 1:  January 11-March 8, 2018 (no meeting on February 22)

Adopted 2016

Maisy is doing wonderful (we kept her name since I thought it suited her). She is such a sweet-natured girl, and loves cuddles and belly rubs! She is starting to purr now when she is happy and around my boyfriend and I. The only time I’ve ever heard her meow though, was when we took her to the vet. Other than that, she doesn’t make a sound. I thought it was a little strange because I’ve always had chatty cats growing up, but I guess that’s just how Maisy is!
We could not have found a better cat to fit into our lives. Thank you so much once again.

Meet. Adopt. Love.
