Private Consultations

Behaviour consultations are suitable for puppies or dogs who struggle with problem behaviours and complex challenges.

Our experienced behaviour consultants will create a plan to help you manage and resolve issues like reactivity, fearfulness, separation anxiety, jumpy or mouthy behaviour, anxiety, resource guarding, and aggression.

After you complete ourour staff will meet virtually or one-on-one with you and your dog to discuss and assess current issues and identify problem areas, working together in a comfortable, stress-free environment towards realistic goals. We will work together as a team to plan a successful rehabilitation program, using proven positive reinforcement methods to teach you the skills to manage and work with common and complex behaviour problems.

Common behaviour issues

Chewing and other destructive behaviours

Excessive barking and growling

Consultation costs

Initial session - 60 Minutes
$150 Regular / $125 for CAHS adoptees

Additional 60-minute sessions - 60 Minutes
$125 Regular / $100 for CAHS adoptees

Complex & multi-problem behaviour sessions - 90 Minutes
$225 Regular / $200 for CAHS adoptees

Additional complex & multi-problem behaviour sessions - 90 Minutes
$200 Regular / $175 for CAHS adoptees

Terms of service

Private consults are by appointment only.
Payments must be made in advance of the appointment. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Travel and fuel costs will apply for behaviour consults held more than 5 km outside of Cochrane at the cost of .60 cents/km.
We require 24 hours’ notice if you cannot keep an appointment. We will be happy to reschedule; however, failure to keep an appointment or provide adequate notice may constitute a forfeiture of fees rendered.
We reserve the right to refuse clients.
