Howdy, I’m Hilda! I might have a dopey face – but I am anything but! I am a super smart girl with a huge heart! I am very food-motivated and ready to learn. With positive reinforcement, I know I will be the best dog there is! I can’t wait to shake your hand and maybe earn a treat or two in the process. I would like to meet any potential doggie roommates before going home so I can be sure it will be a good fit. Weighing in at over 100 lbs, I am a big gal. I would like any kids in the home to be over the age of 15 so that I don’t have to worry about knocking anyone over. I can’t wait to blow this popsicle stand and start my new life with you!

Hilda has enlisted in Canine Boot Camp with a volunteer trainer. This four-week intensive training program will teach Hilda manners, basic obedience, recalls, loose leash walking, tricks and agility. By the time she has graduated, Hilda will be a new dog and an even better companion for someone like you.

 Interested adopters can visit regularly, take Hilda for walks, meet her volunteer trainer and see her in action at Boot Camp. Canine Boot Camp provides a great opportunity for you to really get to know – and love - a dog prior to adoption.
