Are you looking for a buddy to rock out with? I'm Zep, and I'm your guy! I was in rough shape when a nice lady picked me up and brought me to the shelter. My leg was so infected and swollen it was hard for me to stand! On top of that, I was feeling pretty shy - the shelter sure is a busy place, and I had to get used to walking on a leash. Now that I'm feeling settled in, my confidence is growing more every day and I love to run around and let my silly side show! I'm really just a puppy at heart, although I do love to lay with my legs tucked under me like a cat. You've probably noticed, but I have a really unique look - I'm getting used to turning heads wherever I go! I'd love to meet my new family a few times before we 'bring it on home', and older kids will be best as I still get a bit overwhelmed sometimes. If you're ready for a 'whole lotta love' then come on down to the shelter so we can hang out!

Zep has enlisted in Canine Boot Camp with a volunteer trainer. This four-week intensive training program will teach Zep manners, basic obedience, recalls, loose leash walking, tricks and agility. By the time he has graduated, Zep will be a new dog and an even better companion for someone like you.

 Interested adopters can visit regularly, take Zep for walks, meet his volunteer trainer and see him in action at Boot Camp. Canine Boot Camp provides a great opportunity for you to really get to know – and love - a dog prior to adoption.
