Annabelle

Dottie, Annabelle, Lexi, and Josie are four sweet sisters who were found along the highway and are still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place.

These girls are very affectionate and absolutely love their people, but they each approach the world a little differently.

Annabelle can be timid when she feels unsure and may initially hide or make herself small. Having her sister nearby gives her confidence, and once she gets into a more comfortable environment, a peppier and more affectionate side begins to emerge. She enjoys treats, accepts gentle handling well, and clearly wants to connect with people — she just needs a little help feeling brave enough to do it.

The girls are building some great puppy foundations and learning skills like walking on leash and experiencing new people, places and things. For Annabelle in particular, patience, relationship building and positive reinforcement will be especially important. Puppy socialization classes would be a wonderful way to help her safely build confidence while strengthening the bond with her new family.

With encouragement, understanding and plenty of positive experiences, these little girls have everything they need to blossom into happy, confident companions. ❤️
