Welcome to the Cochrane & Area Humane Society's private off-leash dog parks! Nestled north of Cochrane, our parks offer a perfect retreat for you and your furry friends. With stunning mountain views, these fully fenced spaces provide a safe and serene environment for dogs to roam freely.
Location: 43128 Township Road 274 Rocky View County - the parking lot is directly off the main road.
From Cochrane: North on Highway 22 to Range Road 274 (13 km from Sunset Drive intersection).
Turn West on Range Road 274 and go 2.3 km and the park is on your right.
We have four distinct parks for your enjoyment
Abbie’s Acres (formerly Paw’s in the Park)At 2.5 acres, this park offers a more intimate space for dogs and their owners who prefer a more simple and smaller environment.
This park can be booked in 30 minute and 60 minute intervals.

Sadie's Nature Park (8.8 acres)
Spanning over 8.8 acres, this expansive area is perfect for active dogs who love to explore, run, and play.
This park can be booked in 60 minute intervals only.

Murphy’s Meadow (12.6 acres)
At 12.6 acres, Murphy’s Meadow provides plenty of bushes, trees and hills to roam, explore, and sniff to your dog’s heart’s content. A brief one minute walk is required to enjoy this beautiful space. Please ensure dogs stay leashed until they are in the park. A great balance of open space and natural surroundings for dogs who love adventure. Because of the size and layout of the park, a strong recall is essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. As a natural space, you may notice some leftover horse manure early in the season, which will break down naturally over time.
This park can be booked in 60 minute intervals only.

Claire’s Clearing (13.2 acres)
At 13.2 acres, Claire’s Clearing is our largest off-leash space, offering wide-open clearing and endless freedom to explore. Ideal for long visits, energetic dogs, and big zoomies.
This park can be booked in 60 minute intervals only.

Whether you're looking for an adventure in the larger parks or a peaceful outing in the smaller one, our private off-leash parks are the ideal destination for a day of fun and relaxation.
Park Rules
- Only confirmed and paid customers are permitted on the property & in the park of your confirmed booking. There is no movement between parks.
- All dogs and guests are to remain in vehicles until the booked park time - no waiting at park gates permitted. Please allow clients and dogs to exit the park before bringing your dog near the gates.
- Park in designated parking areas only.
- Prior to entering the park, check your booking confirmation to ensure you have the correct park, date, and time. Your booking is not confirmed unless you have a booking confirmation email.
- Owners must provide proof of each dog's up to date core vaccinations (DHPP). Rabies and Bordetella/Kennel Cough is not required, but strongly recommended.
- Clean up after yourself, your animal, and your guests. Ensure all waste, treats, toys, and garbage are removed.
- NO DIGGING OR JUMPING ON FENCING.
- All guests must adhere to their booked times and need to be in their vehicles until their booked time starts and before their booked time ends. Booking times include transition from car to park and park to car.
- No dog interactions are permitted.
- Rude behaviour and foul language will not be tolerated.
- NO SMOKING, VAPING, DRUG OR ALCOHOL USE AT ANYTIME, ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.
- NO MATCHES, LIGHTERS, CONFETTI, BALLOONS, BIRD SEED/SUNFLOWER SEEDS, TREE OR FENCE CLIMBING, BRANCH BREAKING, OR ANY OTHER DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOUR.
- Deshedding is not permitted on the premises.
- Food and drinks are permitted, but clean up after yourself and take your trash with you.
- The guest named in the booking is responsible for the behaviour of their guests and animals. Please use the park respectfully.
- The main gate must remain closed. Close the gate after driving through.
- Dogs must remain on leash when moving between your vehicle and the park you have booked.
- No more than 4 dogs per park per time slot.
