Meet Cleo, an energetic, clever girl looking for an active, dog-savvy family to call her own!

Cleo is an adult dog, although her exact age is a bit of a mystery. What isn’t a mystery is that this girl has energy to spare! She’ll thrive with a family who enjoys getting out and about and can provide her with plenty of physical exercise, mental enrichment, and opportunities to put that busy brain to work.

Cleo would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training, with a particular focus on manners and impulse control. She is food motivated, which should come in handy when it’s time to practice those new skills! A group obedience class or equivalent would be a great way to keep her learning while building a strong relationship with her new people.

New people, places, and experiences should be introduced gradually and positively so Cleo has the chance to adjust at her own pace. If her future home includes another dog, we recommend bringing them to the shelter for a meet-and-greet before adoption, followed by slow and thoughtful introductions at home.
