Meet Jewel, a gentle, thoughtful dog who forms strong bonds and quickly becomes a loving companion once she feels safe. She may be cautious in new situations, especially around sudden loud noises, but she is able to recover and continue exploring the world with growing confidence. Once she trusts you, Jewel is affectionate, engaged, and enjoys being close to her people. She loves walks, scent work, enrichment games, and being included in everyday life. Jewel often settles into new relationships quickly and can become a devoted shadow once she decides you are her person. She benefits from a patient home that will give her time to adjust in new environments without pressure. With other dogs, she can be social and playful, especially with calm and respectful play partners. Jewel is looking for a home that understands her sensitivity while appreciating the very loving and connected companion she becomes.
