Katie

Katie is an absolute sweetheart who has quickly become a shelter favourite and is sure to win your heart with her beautiful smile! She has been staying in a staff office and has been a quiet and pleasant guest. Katie was shy when she arrived and was worried about walking on a leash, but she has made great progress and now has no issues with having her harness put on and going for long walks! She prefers respectful and slow intros with her canine pals, but once they get to know each other she loves a good play. She is very friendly and loving, her absolute favourite thing is belly rubs, and she will approach anyone to get scratches! Katie is content to go into her crate when her humans are out, and also sleeps through the night in her crate. Katie is a really quiet dog, and has lovely house manners. She is smart, and learns both commands and routines quickly. Katie is such a lovely and playful young dog who is going to bring years of companionship to her lucky family. She can go to a home with children ages 15 and up.
