Maui

Mahalo Maui! Like the island of Hawaii, little Maui is quite small! At about 53 lbs., she looks like a mini version of a gold retriever! Maui is a very shy gal and is looking for a family that has experience with fearful dogs. Maui has lots of dog friends here at the shelter and needs a home with another confident pup as she gains confidence when she has a buddy with her. Maui would like to join a home with kids over the age of 15, as she finds the hustle and bustle of younger kids to be too overwhelming. Maui thrives in a rural setting and would ideally join a family that lives outside of the big city. If you are looking to bring a bit of the tropics to your home this winter – the Maui is the one for you!
