Simon

Simon is an incredibly sweet and sensitive dog who is still learning that people can be safe. He can be slow to warm up and is looking for a patient home that will give him the time he needs to settle into his loyal, cuddly self. He’s an active boy who is brave out in the world, but he prefers hiking, parks, and private off-leash areas over city streets and residential walks. He’ll happily accompany you on any car rides! Simon believes cars are worth following at top speed and is a deer-tracking extraordinaire, so he’s seeking a person ready for a committed relationship with the other end of the leash. While dog parks and public off-leash areas aren’t his thing, he appreciates his weekly trips to the private off-leash to really get the zoomies out. Simon may enjoy having another calm dog in the home. With proper introductions and a home familiar with herding traits, he could live with dog-savvy cats. Simon would do best in a quiet, adult home or with respectful children aged 15+ and a secure, fenced yard.
