Meet India!

Meet India, a gentle, affectionate young cat who may need a little time to settle in, but once she does, prepare to discover an absolute sweetheart!

When India first arrived in her foster home, she spent about three days decompressing in her own quiet space. Once she felt safe and comfortable, though, her confidence blossomed. Before long, she was venturing out to explore the rest of the house and actively seeking out companionship from her foster family.

And India isn't shy about affection once she knows you're one of her people! She loves being petted, with chest and belly rubs among her particular favourites. She has an adorably affectionate habit of wrapping her paws up around her ears while enjoying chest scratches, and has even gently held onto her foster person's finger while having her little paw pads rubbed.

India seems to absolutely loves dogs! She happily seeks out her canine foster siblings, rubbing against them whether they're sitting, standing or lying down, and even greeting them with sweet little nose boops. A home with a respectful, cat-friendly dog could be a wonderful fit for this social girl.

India also has a playful side and loves a good game of cat and mouse. Watching her toss, chase and pounce on her mouse and crinkle toys is guaranteed entertainment!

India may still appreciate patience and a gentle approach when entering a new environment, but we've learned that beneath that initially cautious exterior is a loving, playful and wonderfully social cat. Give her the time she needs to feel safe, and she'll reward you with affection, companionship, and plenty of delightful little quirks.

I have lived successfully with dogs and may enjoy having a respectful canine friend.
I might be able to live with cats.
I might be able to live with older children.
