Layla

Layla is a sweet, curious pup who takes so much joy in the world around her. She’s incredibly playful and especially excited by toys, other dogs, and anything new to explore. Since coming into foster care, she’s come a long way and continues to settle into routine and structure a little more each day. Layla is making steady progress with her basic obedience and is already crate trained - she is a smart girl who is quickly picking up sit, down, stay, leave it, and place! She loves to have a canine playmate, although at times she can find it hard to contain her excitement. With supervision and structure, she is learning when it's time to engage and when it's time to settle. Layla is an absolute sweetheart who loves cozy blankets, hanging out near her people, and wagging her adorable tail to let you know exactly how she’s feeling. She’s got an incredibly expressive face that will melt your heart. Snow is one of her favourite things, and she is happiest bouncing through massive snowbanks and exploring outside! Layla would be a great match for a home that enjoys an active, playful dog and is excited to keep building on her training while also soaking up her affectionate, gentle moments. She has so much love to give and is ready to keep growing with the right person by her side.
