Licorice

Meet Licorice! If you're looking for a pint-sized best friend with a big heart, Licorice may be your girl! This sweet little lady is happiest when she's close to her people—preferably curled up on a lap, snuggled beside you, or enjoying a good belly rub.

Licorice has blossomed during her time in foster care. While she can be a little unsure when first adjusting to new people and surroundings, give her some patience and kindness and her affectionate, curious personality quickly begins to shine. Once she decides you're a friend, prepare to have a devoted little companion who loves being part of whatever you're doing.

She's also a social girl who enjoys the company of other dogs. Licorice has lived successfully with several canine foster siblings and enjoys cuddling up with her dog friends as much as she does her humans. She loves exploring the world, sniffing her way through new places, meeting people, and even going along for car rides.

Licorice is looking for a patient family who will give her time to settle in, continue using positive reinforcement, and help her build on everything she's learned in foster care. In return, you'll get a loving, curious little shadow who would be delighted to curl up beside you and make herself right at home. If your lap has been feeling suspiciously empty lately, Licorice may know just how to fix that!
