Meet Trix, a sweet one-year-old girl with an adventurous spirit and some surprisingly impressive athletic abilities!

Trix is a young dog who is still finding her way in the world and would love a family who can help her build confidence through positive experiences, training, and plenty of opportunities to explore. She may look like an innocent little lady, but don’t be fooled ... Trix is an accomplished climber and jumper! Her future family will need to make sure she is safely supervised outdoors and has secure containment, as a standard fence may simply look like an interesting challenge to this clever girl.

If there is another dog in Trix’s future home, we recommend bringing them to the shelter for a meet-and-greet before adoption, followed by slow and thoughtful introductions once home.

At only one year old, Trix has lots of time to learn, grow, and discover what life with her new family is all about. With patient guidance, positive reinforcement, and humans who appreciate both her boundaries and her apparent aspirations as a professional escape artist, this lovely girl has so much potential.
