This class will improve obedience skills by incorporating elements of rally obedience, agility, and shadowing skills where dogs work on both sides of their handlers, performing a variety of twists, turns, and side changes. The class is open to dogs with solid basic obedience skills, including name attention, a solid sit, and the ability to work while other dogs are in the room.
It also includes obstacles and equipment that require the ability of dog and handler to work as a team to meet challenges in a distracting environment. Beyond Basics helps build focus, motivation, and confidence while strengthening the dog-owner relationship through cooperation and collaboration.
