Brick

Meet Brick, a handsome 2-year-old with a big personality packed into a relatively compact package! This energetic guy is looking for an experienced dog person who appreciates a dog with enthusiasm, confidence, and plenty of get-up-and-go.

Brick loves getting out and exploring. He can come out of the gate with a lot of excitement, but once he's had a few minutes to get moving, he settles into a much more comfortable walking pace. He enjoys sniffing his surroundings and confidently taking in the world around him, and everyday sights and sounds don't seem to faze him.

Brick has also shown that he can enjoy the company of other dogs. His play style and comfort level can depend on the dog he's meeting, and an overly enthusiastic playmate may be a little much for him at first. With a thoughtful introduction and the opportunity to get comfortable, though, he has shown some really lovely, playful interactions. If there's already a dog in the home, we'd recommend a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone feels good about the match.

This busy boy will thrive with someone who can give him plenty of physical exercise along with mental enrichment and continue working on his leash skills, manners, and impulse control using positive reinforcement. Brick isn't looking for a first-time dog owner, he needs someone with dog experience who understands that building a relationship can take a little time. Multiple meetings will give Brick the chance to get to know his potential family before heading home.
