Meet Brownie!

Meet Brownie!

Brownie is a sweet and gentle seven-month-old pup who's looking for a patient, understanding family to help him discover just how wonderful the world can be.

This sensitive boy can be nervous when faced with unfamiliar people, places, and experiences, so he's looking for a quieter home where he can decompress and settle in at his own pace. Brownie isn't a dog who wants to rush into new situations. with patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of opportunities to build confidence, he'll be able to take those important steps when he's ready.

Brownie may especially benefit from having a confident canine companion in his new home to help show him the ropes. Any potential dog friends should meet him first, with slow and proper introductions helping everyone start off on the right paw.

Because Brownie is still young, he has lots of learning and growing ahead of him. An experienced, dog-savvy family who understands fearful behaviour and is willing to continue working on his confidence will help him become the best version of himself. A secure harness is also recommended for adventures outside the home while he learns to navigate unfamiliar environments safely.

Brownie would prefer a quieter household with dog-savvy children aged 15 and older. Most importantly, he's looking for people who will celebrate the little victories, give him time when he needs it, and allow their relationship to develop at his pace.

For the right family, helping this gentle young dog learn to feel safe and confident could be an incredibly rewarding journey. Brownie is ready to find someone who will believe in him every step of the way. ❤️

I am not suitable for a first time dog owner.

I may be able to live with other dogs and/or cats after slow and proper introductions.

I may be able to live with children aged 15+.
