Meet Pip!

Pip may have had a rough start in life, but you would never know it from her kind-hearted and gentle nature. She is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet and has a heart of pure gold.

Pip comes with many wonderful qualities. She is house-trained, crate-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has an excellent recall. She gets along wonderfully with cats and other dogs and forms deep bonds with her people once she feels comfortable.

While Pip is incredibly sweet and affectionate, she is shy when meeting new people and needs time to build trust. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body—she simply prefers to take things at her own pace. Once she knows you're safe, her sweet personality shines through and your will be her buddy for ever!

Pip is looking for a home with a confident, well-adjusted dog who can help show her the ropes and lead the way for her. She takes great comfort in the company of other dogs and often looks to them for guidance and reassurance. A canine companion will help her continue to build confidence and thrive.

Although Pip enjoys a calm lifestyle, she also has an adventurous side. She loves going for walks and thoroughly enjoys running, playing, and exploring the CAHS off-leash parks, where she can stretch her legs and take in all the sights and smells. After a day of adventure, Pip is more than happy to curl up beside her people and never misses an opportunity for a good couch cuddle.

Pip has lived successfully in both rural and urban environments, but her ideal home will be on the quieter side. She enjoys a calm, predictable lifestyle and tends to feel most comfortable in peaceful surroundings - young children and busy households can be a little overwhelming for her reserved temperament. She would do best in a home where her family can appreciate her sensitive nature and provide her with the patience and understanding she needs to flourish.

The ideal family for Pip will understand that the best things in life are worth waiting for. With kindness, patience, and a time to settle in, Pip will reward her new family with unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and endless love.

If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive soul who just needs someone to believe in her, Pip may be the perfect addition to your family.
