Farrah
Meet Farrah, a sweet, gentle little lady who has already proven that she knows exactly how to make herself at home!
Farrah has been spending time in foster care, where her family describes her as one of the easiest foster dogs they’ve ever had. She is low energy, loves a good snuggle, but is also perfectly happy to enjoy some quiet time on her own. She sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate and has settled beautifully into a comfortable household routine.
If Farrah’s future home has another dog, we recommend a meet-and-greet at the shelter followed by slow and appropriate introductions.
Her foster family has also noticed that Farrah may have some hearing loss. She doesn’t always respond to voices or sounds and sometimes needs a gentle touch or visual cue to get her attention. Her new family can help her navigate the world by learning to communicate with her in ways that work best for her.
Farrah is looking for a home with children 10 years and older who can respect her space and interact with her appropriately. Her adopters should also have experience with or knowledge of the needs and characteristics of small-breed dogs.
Underneath that tousled exterior is an affectionate, easygoing little companion who asks for very little: a predictable routine, a cozy place to sleep, some loving company, and perhaps the plushest dog bed in the house.
If that sounds like the kind of roommate you’ve been looking for, come meet Farrah! ❤️
I may be able to live with other dogs and/or cats after slow and proper introductions.
I may be able to live with children aged 10+.
