Meet Jagger, a fun-loving two-year-old with plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and personality to share!

Jagger is a bouncy, happy guy who is looking for an active family ready to keep both his body and his brain busy. Daily exercise, playtime, enrichment, and adventures will be important for this energetic boy, and giving him appropriate outlets for all that enthusiasm will help him be his very best self at home.

Like many young dogs, Jagger is still working on his manners and impulse control. Fortunately, he’s food motivated, which can be a fantastic tool for positive reinforcement training! A group obedience class or equivalent would be a great way to continue building his skills while helping Jagger learn how to channel some of that excitement.

Jagger will also benefit from slow, positive introductions to new people, places, and experiences. If there is another dog in his future home, we recommend a meet-and-greet at the shelter before adoption, followed by gradual introductions once home.

Because Jagger can be an enthusiastic and bouncy fellow, especially when food is involved, he is looking for a family with children 10 years and older. Proper supervision between dogs and kids is always recommended.
